Cannes
Project Brief
The client required a garden restyle project. The Dutch/Canadian owners of this private family home – built on hilly terrain overlooking the bay of Cannes – wished to restyle the interior decoration and create studios. They wanted to renovate the entire garden and pool areas to make them accessible as outdoor living spaces and maximize the stunning sea view.
What Zantos Delivered
ZANTOS needed to create terraced levels to utilise the sloping terrain as usable garden areas. We terraced the slope into flat areas, built walls, paved walks, and created stairs to access the garden and villa. Slatted wooden panels were added to create privacy walls along the paved walks bordering the property.
A driveway terrace was also built. A pool patio and pool house were built. The pool house is constructed in the traditional island hut style. ZANTOS collaborated with a landscape architect and brought in James and William Hartley directors of the English Garden Centre for the garden design and planting. ZANTOS designed the interior decoration, including the curtains. ZANTOS also designed custom carpentry for the television room and bathroom.
