In our blog category #MeetZantos we’re talking with people who work for Zantos, about who they are, what they do and what inspires them most. Today, an interview with Guido Zantingh – one of the Zantos specialists.
Guido is one of the three sons of Ernst Jan, he recently joined forces with his brother and father and he is enjoying every minute of it.
What is your role within Zantos?
I do a bit of everything, which I love and it keeps the job very interesting. I mostly work on the renovation of clients’ houses and I also do administrative work for Zantos. It was important for me to touch on a bit of everything within the company to really find out what I like and what I want to focus on in the future. Since this is my first real job, I am interested in doing various things.
What’s your expertise?
I am good at business and administrative tasks. I like to understand the backbone of a company and how things work. I think that’s why I love to touch on a little bit of everything, to see what I do best and enjoy doing most. I also want to find out how everything works and how I can best help my colleagues.
What do you like most about your job at Zantos?
Some might say I am crazy but I love working with my family. I work very closely with my brother Duncan and I have learned so much from him. I also very much enjoy working on a project from beginning to completion.
What is your favorite Zantos project?
The villa in La Colle-sur-Loup is my favorite project because it is one of the first ones I have worked on and we renovated it completely from A to Z.
What is your dream for the future of the company?
I wish for the company to grow even more over time. I want to learn more from my father and grow within the business.
