The client wanted to renovate her kitchen and restyle her home in a classic contemporary style while maintaining a Provencal atmosphere. She also wished to renovate the empty space under her villa by constructing guestrooms, bathroom, toilet, fitness and laundry rooms. She also wanted to resolve moisture problems at the lower level.
The project was started by the rebuilding of the kitchen and decorating the existing villa. Our client’s passion for Provençal colours guided them in their colour and material choices. Salernes floor tiles were selected for many of the rooms. When the building permit was obtained ZANTOS developed plans for the two guestrooms, bathroom and toilet, laundry room and fitness room that were to be constructed in the lower level under the existing villa.
All of the rooms are visually connected with a Provençal orange, like virtually joining the spaces with a common accent colour or theme. This creates a harmonious flow throughout the interior and exterior spaces. ZANTOS creates this ‘Dutch Touch” by adding the same colour to accent cushions, lampshades, dining chairs, one wall, and even to the exterior furniture on the lounge chair cushions.
