This apartment is located in an old ‘Belle Époque’ Hotel. The owner wanted a light, fresh and contemporary look for her apartment and to give it a noble feeling in keeping with the building style using Italian furniture.
ZANTOS completed the entire renovation and redecoration of the apartment. We designed the floors, the kitchen and selected the furniture and curtains. The colour scheme followed a light cream and beige palette. The eye moves easily from one space to another as the light colour scheme creates a cohesive flow and a feeling of airiness.
Light flowing white curtains allows soft luminosity into the rooms. The tailor-made kitchen has a contemporary look with light coloured wooden cabinets and is a nice contrast to the beautiful Herringbone wooden parquet floors, fusing new and old in harmony.
The dining room and master bedroom are accented by crystal Italian chandeliers, enhancing the luxurious “Belle Époque” high ceilings and beautiful luminous rooms of the bourgeois era. The finished project represents a perfect marriage of old world and contemporary design.
